The tulip is one of the most iconic symbols of the Netherlands. And nowhere else is this flower put in the spotlight more lovingly than in Keukenhof. The fields of ’the Garden of Europe’ contain more than 7 million tulips, spread over 32 hectares.
It is mainly about the tulip, but there are also countless roses, gerberas, daffodils, orchids and many more beautiful flowers to admire. There are English and Japanese gardens, a playground, a petting zoo, a maze, and lots of other fun places to explore. Keukenhof is only open for 6 weeks each spring.
